Walking before we run

Posted by Lemminkainen

Crest of the Silver Dragon's membership for the most part joined our ranks several weeks ago. Since then we've been romping around various places getting to know each other. We've also been working on our teamwork and whatnot.

Recent highlights include a paladin-palooza of a romp through Scarlet side Stratholme earlier this week, where we re-joined by Valt. If you look carefully at this next picture, you'll notice something about the paladins...

Yep, Sakrament is back! Woohoo! What better way to welcome him back than to force him, after all these months, to heal and tank and whatnot, all at once, without even a chance to absorb all the changes that have happened ^_^

When that was finished off in short order we decided that, finally having a key, we'd visit upper Blackrock Spire. A pleasant surprise to me, we stormed through the place until we reached the General's room. Let's just say "bridge bad" and leave it at that, shall we?

With a good 10-man showing under our belts I decided our weekend romp would be the entire spire, bottom to top.

We started lower earlier than usual since we don't need many folks for it. There was a brief thought of knocking out some 5-man quests as well. People started joining in early anyway. Yay, people! Because what good is a massive train if there's no one to share it with?

Who says the Horde doesn't zerg?

Lots of fun was had in lower, and best of all... we completed our second key! Collected our 7th and 8th Valor bracers *rolls eyes* as well as a few minor upgrades for folks and a ton of greed bits. Afterwards we popped back to Ironforge to repair and resupply, took a short break and then headed back to tackle upper.

We were pretty unfocused as we started, somehow managing to aggro all of the side rooms of the first chamber at once... and bringing down the dragonkin from the top of the ramp for good measure. We were still shaky when we got to hatchery. To an outsider it must have seemed that despite trying real hard not to, we did manage to steal a win.

(Note, re: hatchery. F You, and your no-Devout-shoulder-dropping boss.)

After the hatchery we finally pulled it together and had a grand old time stomping through the place. There were a number of well-deserved and hefty upgrades earned, as well as a heap more greed bits.

And best of all, the first all-Coterie planting of General Drakkisath.

Congratulations everyone!

On another note...

We are still looking for a few friendly faces to fill our ranks. Our pressing need is for another warrior and another priest. We're still open to taking in other classes as well, with the exception, sad to say, of hunters.
