November 27, 2005We have decided to give the casual raiding guild a go. We would like, again, to extend our appreciation of the open arms that AB provided us and we'll continue to offer our assistance to them if they ever need it. Thank you Azure Brigade and we wish you the best of luck in all of your endeavors!
A little background on us:
We came from the game of Everquest, from Bristlebane. Combined we have over 1,000 days of raiding experience under our belts and each of us has 3-6 years of MMORPG background. We are a close group of friends that have become like family; some in real life, some in-game for years.
If you are interested in raiding, starting out from the bottom and working your way up, we in the Coterie family would like to have you! We are looking for people that are relatively active. We are currently raiding 2-3 nights each week.
The level limit is loosely set at 52+. You must be energetic and not afraid to try new things. We will be happy to listen to your suggestions, but we are not a spoiler-based guild. We like to learn things on our own. It makes defeating an encounter that much more satisfying. You must be an open-minded individual and patience is a must. Most of all, you must want to have a good time!
Have friends that you want to join as well but they don't quite make the level requirement? Let us know how far off they are - they too may be welcomed!
What we are looking for:
We are starting off in Scholomance, Stratholme, BRD, Lower and Upper BRS. As our members acquire the necessary gear, keys, and experience working together we'll move to Zul'Gurub, Silithus raid bosses and the upcoming An'Quiraj 20-man instance. Our long-term goal is, of course, Molten Core and Blackwing Lair and lies beyond.
Our current goal is 18-22 active players within the various classes and then to grow as needed. We are currently looking for the following:
1 druid
1 paladin
1-2 priests
2 rogues
1 warlock
1-2 warriors
If you are one of these classes and have questions about becoming a member, speak to any of our officers:
Hrrathul
Kristana
Lemminkainen
We may have slots for other classes as well. Feel free to contact us and ask.
As a member of Coterie you will be expected to follow the guidelines listed here. A zero tolerance policy for drama will be in effect. If you think you may be a good fit to our family, introduce yourself on the New Recruit Application forum.
Please note: On the late policy, if you are in a different time zone, we will understand that. If you log on the same time every night, that will be taken into consideration and will not be a problem. The main goal is to weed out people who have no interest in progressing as a team, only in outfitting themselves as fast as possible.
We are looking to have a good time while doing something that we love - raiding. We want to keep our family style atmosphere and still be able to better ourselves, as well as experience the high end content of the game. If you are interested in joining, please! feel free to ask any of the above four members listed of any questions or concerns that you may have. On behalf of the Coterie officers and members we look forward to meeting and hunting with you.
November 18, 2005EDIT: It's as good as it ever was now.
The forums are back up, such as it is.
The custom theme is rather borked at the moment. I'll have to beat on it for a while to get to recognize it again. Most of the mods I had done to the board are also gone. I'll reintegrate those over time.
It's readable and usable. Just bear with me as I get it back into shape.
November 17, 2005We are aware the forums are down. Working on fixing what I done broke as best can.
November 14, 2005Azure Brigade has grown to the point where it was no longer possible for us to participate equitably at their side. I would like to thank them for time we spent together; some great memories, new friends, and sights that would otherwise not have been seen.
For our part I believe the seperation was amicable and we wish them well.
There will be an announcement in a few of what, if any, our future plans may be.
November 07, 2005Bouncing along with our Azure Brigade friends, we found ourselves face-to-whatever with Baron Geddon. With much running around, flailing madly, screaming like little girls, and the inevitable people exploding, we eventually made him explode. Your first explosion is always the one you remember...

And we were well-rewarded with:
Lawbringer Spaulders - Sixis
Felheart Shoulder Pads - Destrius?
And Garr had:
Gutgore Ripper - Bloodberry
Mana Igniting Cord - Trink
Lawbringer Helm - Callador
